An entrepreneur is commonly defined as: a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so. But what does entrepreneurship really mean for individuals and businesses? Being an entrepreneur sounds amazing, but in reality it's a huge challenge. This class is aimed at designers who want to form their own design agency, develop and sell their own products, or launch a start-up. Our 2-hour workshop covers how to build a business and marketing plan and how to build a team. You'll learn about using internal and external resources, networking, operations, and the idea of how to work "on the cheap" to get the most out of everything you do.
