I completely agree with you—even simple but thoughtful gestures have incredible power when my loved one and I are apart. I especially treasure long distance couple gifts that remind me of the times we shared: for example, a bracelet engraved with the date we first met, a soft pillow with a photo of us together, or a box of his favorite sweets that I sent him "just because." It's also incredibly touching to receive unexpected surprises—a card with warm words, a mini board game to play online together, or a set of scented candles that we'll "use" when we call each other in the evening.
