Anyone rely on phone apps a lot when visiting theme parks?

Okay, I'm genuinely curious. When you go to a theme park, how much do you rely on phone apps? I mean, are we talking essential lifeline, or just a nice-to-have accessory? I see so many people glued to their screens, constantly checking wait times or making mobile food orders. I want to determine when these mobile apps provide value versus detracting from being in the zone. Does it help you maximize your time and avoid lines, or does it make you more stressed out? Trying to justify it myself.

I have definitely become more reliant on theme park apps over the years! Mobile orders and mobile park maps are great. Preparing and planning before the theme park opens can give you a great advantage. However, there are certainly times when I wonder whether something is essential or just an accessory. I decided to investigate different options on my planning trip. I ended up reading liven app reviews as there were several sites that focused on various application reviews. It really helped me plan out my mobile strategies for different park options.
