I’ve been rethinking my makeup routine lately and noticed I almost never use a compact mirror anymore. I used to carry one in my bag all the time for quick touch-ups, but now I just rely on my vanity setup at home and sometimes my phone camera when I’m outside. Still, I keep seeing compact mirrors being recommended for small-space living and travel setups, like the ones here
and it made me wonder if they’re actually still practical or just something people buy out of habit. Do you still use one daily or is it more of a “just in case” item now?

I don’t really use makeup tools like that, but it’s interesting how some things just stay relevant even when technology changes. You’d think phones would completely replace small mirrors by now, but people still prefer something simple and dedicated for quick use. I guess it comes down to convenience and reliability—no battery, no screen, just a clear reflection whenever you need it. It’s kind of like other everyday tools that don’t disappear because they just work.
