SOVEREIGNTY COMPANY, A NEO LUXE CIRCULAR SOCIAL ENTERPRISE, LAUNCHES TO DISRUPT FASHION



We wanted to share some great news with our community. Our friends at Sovereignty are launching a Fashion CEOs Accelerator to empower fashion entrepreneurs of color to collectively solve climate change, sustainability and inclusion challenges.


Five founders will be selected to participate in the inaugural cohort and will receive a $50,000 cash grant and a transformative eight-month accelerator experience. The Fashion CEOs Accelerator will help fashion entrepreneurs redefine and disrupt neo-luxe fashion, equitable wealth creation, and a creative workforce economy.


Applications are due on July 29 Sovereignty is hosting weekly Info Session Power Hours every Wednesday during July to share more about the accelerator program. The next Power Hour will be this Wednesday, July 13 at 6 pm on Zoom. Space is limited, please RSVP in advance to join the call!



The sovereignty Fashion Accelerator program was created to offer BIPOC designers the opportunity to apply for 50K in grant money to participate in a fashion accelerator program to build their business. To qualify, a designer needs to meet the following requirements:


  • Must be physically based in LA County with a roadmap to manufacturing/produce business in the LA region for at least 5 years

  • Must be running a business for at least two years with existing traction

  • You have plans to launch sustainable products

  • You've hired and led a team, part-time or full time

  • You embody being a purpose-driven brand that is dedicated to creating fashion good for people and the planet

  • Open and committed to profound personal and business transformation

"Conscious design is a philosophy used at the Peterman Design Firm. We use it to create brands and products that restore and sustain our planet.
