Join this unique masterclass to learn all the tools and strategies for designing a zero-waste collection using textile waste created by fast fashion. Learn about the overwhelming fast fashion waste problem and how to overcome it. In this intensive session, you will learn how to source deadstock fabrics and how to use them to design collections for a contemporary audience.

In session 1 we will teach you how to work with design and technical constraints that come up when working with deadstock fabrics. We will cover trend methodology, guide you on how to overcome quality issues and how to create zero waste patterns and specs. If you want to have a real impact in fashion and change how people look at fashion, this is the session for you.

In session 2 all attendees will receive free access to the design open house where designers can share their zero-waste design ideas with a panel of industry mentors for one-on-one feedback.

"Conscious design is a philosophy used at the Peterman Design Firm. We use it to create brands and products that restore and sustain our planet.
